We have been fitting windscreens for cars/vans and trucks in Midleton over 20 years. We work for all insurance companies to the trade and general public. With our 3 mobile vans fitting on the road as well as a plant fitting unit for tractors, JCB’s and other plant machinery.

Windscreen Replacement

We will always first try to repair any damage to your windscreen, the type, size and position of the damage will mean that sometimes the whole windscreen needs to be replaced.

Midleton Fast Fit only use glass manufactured to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards, whether sourced from original equipment manufacturers or other suppliers, ensuring that the glass we fit is as good as the original piece of glass we are replacing.

Windscreen Repair

Midleton Fast Fit always first try to repair your existing windscreen before replacing it with a new one, usually saving you both time and money.

Sometimes though, the type, size and position of the damage will mean that the whole windscreen needs to be replaced.

Scratch Removal

No matter what damage your windscreen has sustained, whether it is a scratch, a chip or a crack, it is recommended that you have the glass repaired or replaced as soon as possible.

Cost

Simply put, the cost of your vehicle glass repair will depend on three main factors:

1. The type of damage e.g. a chip or a crack.
2. The piece of glass that is damaged e.g. the windscreen, side window or rear window.
3. If your vehicle insurance covers you for glass damage.

However, in general, if you have glass damage cover and we can repair or replace the existing piece of glass for you, the work we carry out will usually be free of charge. This is because in most cases it is paid for by your insurance company.

To make things even easier, we can usually liaise directly with your insurer and manage the claim on your behalf, taking the stress out of claiming back your costs.
